Det sociologiska perspektivet ser människan framför allt som ett resultat av den kulturella miljö hon lever i. Det biologiska arvet är av mindre betydelse. Människan kan formas och vi överför såväl erfarenheter i form av ett socialt arv. Vi tar efter och lär oss av andra. Reglerna för hur man förhåller sig till andra människor, hur man beter sig vid matbordet, hur man går klädd ect uppkommer i en kultur och i samspelet mellan individerna.
The sociological perspective sees man primarily as a result of the cultural environment they live in. The biological heritage is of less importance. Man can be shaped and we send both experiences in the form of a social heritage. We are after and learn from others. The rules for how to relate to other people, how to behave at the dinner table, how to walk wearing ect arise in a culture and the interaction between individuals.
